Topshop Beauties

Its the 2nd of February in Cold Grey Freezing and miserable England.... Spring seems so far away but I cant help putting together my Spring Picks.

 Credit:Topshop
First up are these Skinny Jeans which are priced at £40.00 which come in amazing colours. When I first saw them I instantly thought of Matthew Williamsons Jeans from his H&M collection. Its amazing how a bit of colour can instantly transform your outfits. All my jeans are Levis as my derriere and Topshop Jeans dont get along. However its a new decade so maybe some things have changed?

.I think its so clever how they have used the two fabrics and alternated them at the waist band so it looks like your wearing a belt. These beauties will sell out in no time. You just cant beat a liberty print Im drawn to the rose but I think the yellow is a ray of sunshine come summer Maybe I can pick one cheap in the Sales?

Ebay Topshop Gem

I had a peek on ebay today and I found the striped flower Topshop dress.I adore the Topshop SS2009 Collection..I was aware of the collection at the time but I hadnt really looked at any peices in depth. I tried on the Art noveaou sun dress which I liked but thought was too expenisve around £60ish pounds. All of the best designs had predicatbly sold out.
So fastforward a year later and Im picking up bargains on ebay. Heres pics of the dress I cant wait to get my hands on this.

The dress wasnt exactly a bargian but its versatile and can be dressed up smartly or worn with flats for a relaxed look.

I love love love these prints. Im a big print person and they are on trend for SS2010 particularly florals and delicate ditzy prints. I think there a good buy becaues I will be holding on to them long term and Kate Moss Topshop clothing seems to do very well on ebay even when its worn.

Liperty Print Dress

Credit:Liberty Blog Online
Ive been umming and ahhing over this dress. There were quite a few left on ebay on BIN and auction I bided my time waiting to get a bargain  The auctions often sold for about £1 less then what I paid so I cant complain.I pressed the BIN for £25.00. It tooks its time to arrive  and I can confirm is stunning. Its fully lined and boned. Its a dress that has to be worn on a good day because any bulge or imperfection will definitly show through as well as the dress being very fitted.I would say its NOT worth the original £65.00 asking Price. If you dont believe the hype with any designer high street collection, You can almost certainly get things on the cheap on ebay unless its a must have.

The blue and red combo is so fresh and screams Spring to me. This dress will be worn with red nails and lips. Softly waved hair and a blue fasinator for a Summer Wedding Im invited too.

A limited-edition scarf designed with an exclusively created floral pattern for the Give Me Liberty of London collection. Rows of coral, orange, yellow and blue flowers form a repeating pattern on a white background. The fabric is a soft wool/viscose blend. Made in Italy. Measures 27″ x 82″.
I vowed I wouldn't be buying any more Mac! I do have lots of empty containers waiting to be traded for back to Mac So whatever I get will be a freebie!

I love everything about the the Limited Edition Liberty Scarf except the price £60.00  for a wool/viscose mix is way over priced. If it was 100% wool or silk I think the price would be ok. As a knitter I love using natural fibres such as mohair/ lambs wool/merino wool. A small addition of viscose is necessary to give the fibre strength. Im keen to find out what the percentage of wool/viscose is. If the viscose is anymore then 10% its a no no!

Liberty Love Part 2

My top arrived and its gorgeous I totally love it! Ive done some more digging on the internet and came across this image which showcased the Topshop Liberty Collection.

I managed to get my mitts on this dressing gown for £15.00 in a sale. I love it so much. I found out the pattern in question is called Carline and is a signature pattern for liberty

Sonia Rykiel H&M Wish List

After Spending So much money on H&M Collaborations last year I have decided to complete a wish list and raise the funds to buy the items via some flogging of items on Ebay. I think the lookbook had some great looks, but are most things really wearable?. If I was to wear any of those looks  from head to toe it would be way too much and I would look like a fashion victim-Its essential to wear clothing and not let the clothes wear you.

So far my list in just two things. First up is this Jumper. The one on the left is currently on Net a Porter and is reduced from £465 to £232.50 on the right is the H&M Sonia Rykiel Jumper which also comes in pink. I think its a great copy of the real thing.

Below are two ways to wear the jumper.

Kate Moss’s Teatime Outfit, 2003
1) A la Kate Moss- Worn with a black skirt and simple Monochrome shoes

2) A la Sonia Rykiel on the runway. Worn with loose black trousers and a bowler hat. This looks definitely more unique and wearable then teaming it with a cliched beret.

Also on my list is the Striped scarf (featured in one of  the look book outfits). Its is Signature Rykiel and so classic. It will add instant brightness to any outfit and is something thats quite playful and fun. The scarf on the left is Sonia Rykiel and retails for £90.00. So the H&M will be a bargain too

Heres a Full length picture of the outfit which is really cute and totally me. The great thing with bright stripes is that it looks vibrant and great against black and even better when you pickup on a colour within the scarf in this case purple.
